A well-known steel pipe manufacturer in Brazil planned to build a large high-frequency ERW pipe and square tube production line to meet the growing demand in construction, infrastructure, energy transportation, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
After a comprehensive evaluation of equipment performance, manufacturing capability, project experience, and after-sales service, the customer selected Aogang to provide a complete Φ508 ERW Pipe and Square Tube Mill solution. The project is designed to expand production capacity, enrich product specifications, and supply high-quality steel pipes to the Brazilian and South American markets.
The production line is capable of manufacturing round pipes, square tubes, and rectangular tubes on the same line, enabling flexible product switching, improving equipment utilization, and reducing overall investment costs.
The mill is capable of producing up to Φ508 mm round pipes and large-size square tubes, meeting the requirements of construction structures, industrial manufacturing, steel structures, and energy transportation applications.
The line adopts Direct Forming to Square technology, reducing roll change time, improving production efficiency, and ensuring high dimensional accuracy and forming quality of square and rectangular tubes.
Optimized roll pass design combined with a high-performance high-frequency welding system ensures stable weld quality, high dimensional consistency, and excellent surface finish.
The production line is equipped with a PLC automatic control system, enabling coordinated operation and continuous production, effectively reducing labor costs and improving operational stability.
