With the global surge in investment in renewable energy, the solar mounting industry is experiencing rapid growth. A customer from Saudi Arabia, after evaluating their production capacity and future market demand, decided to upgrade their existing small-scale production line. They ultimately chose Aogang as a trusted partner and ordered an advanced ERW254 high-frequency welded tube mill line.
The equipment can produce round tubes up to 254mm in diameter, square and rectangular tubes, as well as special profiles such as D-shaped and O-shaped tubes. It is widely used in solar mounting systems, structural pipes, construction tubing, and more, meeting various market demands.
Depending on the tube shape and wall thickness, the line can run continuously at speeds ranging from 10 to 50 meters per minute, significantly increasing output while lowering unit cost — especially suitable for medium- to large-scale production.
The line adopts a high-strength frame and precision roll forming stands. The drive system uses AC motors with gearboxes and variable frequency control to ensure smooth forming with low noise and minimal vibration. Various configurations can be customized to suit different plant layouts.
Equipped with a PLC-based control system and touch screen interface, the line integrates speed control, fault diagnostics, and parameter memory. It’s user-friendly, highly automated, and reduces manual intervention while enhancing operational efficiency.
Aogang provides full lifecycle support—from design and manufacturing to installation and commissioning. For this project, our engineers were dispatched to Saudi Arabia during the Spring Festival to ensure timely installation and troubleshooting. The line is now running smoothly, and the customer’s products are successfully exported to multiple European countries.
